Here our higher torque flex shaft model, the M.TX Hang-up style Motor, is equipped with a longer square drive shaft and heavy duty protective sheath. It is teamed up with a Speed Control of your choice.

M.TXH Motor: Foredom’s most powerful flex shaft machines with 1/3HP. This square drive model has the same motor specifications as the M.TX. They have permanent magnet DC motors that feature the latest in flex shaft technology. These ball bearing models utilize advanced rare earth magnets (in place of the wound fields in our universal type Series SR motors) that deliver more torque at the low end and throughout the entire speed range of 500 to 15,000 RPM. Square drive flex shafts are the ultimate power tools for deburring, buffing, grinding, polishing and metal finishing of any kind with larger rotary accessories. They are great for large scale woodcarving and sculpting applications with carbide or steel burs and larger mounted grinding stones.
This model comes equipped with a motor bale for hanging, and a 63″ long, square drive shaft and heavy duty protective sheath. Square drive shafting is heavier and less flexible than standard key tip shafting and works ONLY with Foredom’s 4 square drive handpieces – the H.25H, H. 28H, H.30H and H.44HT.
M.TXH motors are available ONLY in 115 Volt.

Handpieces are available separately and Required to Operate your Flex Shaft Machine. H.25H, H.30H, H.44HT and H.28H are Foredom’s four square drive handpieces that work with this motor-speed control combination and are shown below under Related Products.
Hang-Up style motors require the use of a motor hanger (available separately) to secure the tool above the work bench. See Related Products below.
