About Jayne Redman

Nature serves as an endless source of inspiration for my imagination and creativity. The elegant lines of stems and the fullness of flower buds influence my jewelry designs. I love blending mechanics with design, allowing each piece to function in a way that is visually intriguing. By working with multiples of the same shape and engineering them to fit together precisely, I create abstract representations of their botanical origins. Years of experience in metalsmithing have taught me the power of simplicity. My creations start as flat metal shapes and evolve into small sculptures, with their complexity lying in the thoughtful transformation of curving planes, much like origami.
