• The top and bottom plates, along with all punches, are made of S7 shock-resistant tool steel, through-hardened to 55 HRC for exceptional durability.

Tight tolerances between the punches and the spring-loaded die plate ensure clean cuts while extending the tool’s service life.The die plate securely clamps metal in place, preventing distortion and keeping your hands safe. Its easy-open design allows for quick adjustments to accommodate various materials. For best results, place a shim of equal thickness to your cutting material on the opposite side to maintain balance.

Versatility

• Designed for soft materials up to 16 gauge (1.29mm) when using a mallet and up to 10 gauge (2.59mm) when using a Bonny Doon hydraulic press.
• Use a urethane pad (1/16" thick, 95 durometer; not included) under the cutters to reduce noise, support the punches, protect your work surface, and ensure crisp cuts.
