• Punches smaller than 25mm are crafted from 4140 tool steel and case-hardened to 57 HRC.

• The top and bottom plates, along with 25mm and larger punches, are made of S7 shock-resistant tool steel, through-hardened to 55 HRC for exceptional durability.

The Swanstrom Disc Cutter features precision-ground punches that produce smooth edges with minimal cleanup. Tight tolerances between the punches and the spring-loaded die plate ensure clean cuts while extending the tool’s service life.

The die plate securely clamps metal in place, preventing distortion and keeping your hands safe. Its easy-open design allows for quick adjustments to accommodate various materials. For best results, place a shim of equal thickness to your cutting material on the opposite side to maintain balance.

Versatility

• Ideal for soft materials up to 16 gauge (1.29mm) with a mallet and up to 10 gauge (2.59mm) with a Bonny Doon hydraulic press.

• Use a 1/16" thick, 95-durometer urethane pad (not included) under the cutters to minimize noise, support the tool, protect your work surface, and ensure precise cuts.
